cant change the direction of servo #5

i have changed the values on the spindle.c file to reverse the direction but it wont take effects

normal file
#define PEN_SERVO_DOWN 31
#define PEN_SERVO_UP 16

My modified
#define PEN_SERVO_DOWN 16
#define PEN_SERVO_UP 31
