NextJs Starter

This is a Next.js 13+ (app dir) project configured with TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, and Husky pre-commit hooks.

Features

Getting Started

If you would like to create your own Next.js app from scratch using the same configuration as this project, run:

npx create-next-app@latest -e https://github.com/benbarber/nextjs-starter

Then install the dependencies:

npm install
# or
yarn install

Then run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying src/app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in src/app/api/hello.ts.

The src/app/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
