Include a microphone with mechanical disconnect

This device is almost perfect. I would love to run a Rust OS, and I would almost buy one but for the lack of built in microphone. I get the security argument. I think you may get a better sell on this if you included a microphone that had a mechanical switch to disconnect the input rather than requiring an external microphone. Maybe not, but just wanted to give my thoughts. If you do add a microphone I'll buy one for sure.
