This was the example given by one of our reviewers as a way to semi-automise ICA component removal... I think it's an alternative to computing correlations between components and eye-electrodes (not an additional step, as I suggested):
It seems you find a "good" prototypical subject and then map other subjects to this one... but since every subject is so different, I don't know whether this is a good or bad thing. No idea how widely it's used... anyway, just pinning it here in case.
