New Features

Overall

  • Improved speed and performance
  • Decreased filesize and initial startup/install time
  • Config allows you to set Boid to start on launch and other power settings.

CPU

  • UI overhaul shows more details about current work units
  • Should be more reliable, auto restart if it crashes etc.
  • Additional settings added

GPU

  • Compatible GPUs can easily connect to the Boid GPU POW now.
  • Generates Boid Power based on shares found.
  • Uses Wildrig or T-Rex depending on device hardware.
  • You can view logs inside the UI

Known Issues

CPU
  • BOINC doesn't stop if you toggle the CPU switch off while it is initially connecting to WCG. This causes inconsistencies in the UI. After the initialization phase (it finishes initial download and starts processing) then BOINC operates as expected.

GPU

  • Incompatible GPUs don't inform the end user, they just simply don't work.
  • Lacking any customization for multi-GPU machines
