Installation Instructions

Autoconfig application can be installed on three major platforms:

MacOS

  1. Go to Releases page
  2. Select release version, preferably latest, and download autoconfig-app-[VERSION].dmg from the Downloads section.
  3. Open dmg image. Installation screen will be open.
  4. Drag-n-drop App to Applications folder.
  5. Navigate to Applications folder in Finder.
  6. Find Autoconfig API application. Right click on application and select Open.
  7. Confirmation dialog will be shown. Click Open button again on configuration dialog.

Steps 5-7 should be done just once, when application is opened for the first time.

Linux

  1. Go to Releases page
  2. Select release version, preferably latest, and download autoconfig-app-[VERSION]-x86_64.AppImage from the Downloads section.
  3. Right-click on the AppImage and select "Properties".
  4. Open the "Permissions" tab.
  5. Enable the option labelled "Allow executing file as a program". Close Properties window.
  6. Now you should be able to run the program simply by double-clicking on it!

Windows

  1. Go to Releases page
  2. Select release version, preferably latest, and download Autoconfig.API.[VERSION].exe from the Downloads section.
  3. No need to install, just open downloaded executable.

You may want to copy executable from the Downloads folder to more convenient place in Program Files or My Documents.
