Game for the Global Game Jam 2019, developed in Bremen (see https://globalgamejam.org/2019/games/ultimate-super-smash-sibs )
Ultimate Super Smash Sibs is a Competitive Co-op sibling obstacle course puzzle game.
Four children were playing around in the woods when they hear their parents calling them for dinner! Feeling their empty stomaches they quickly form two teams and start their journey. Which team will win? Who's home first?
This game requires four players!
You can use Joysticks or a keyboard (or both). When the game starts you see four questionmarks representing the four player. To join the game a player need to press one of his keys or axis. He can then select his Team with the left/right control and his character by the up/down control. When he is happy with his decision he presses the action key to signal that he is ready. He has to press the action key again if he likes to change his team or character again. Each character can only be used by one players and the teams need to have a size of 2 players each. Only if these criteria are met and all 4 player are ready the game starts.

We use the first left/right axis as well as "Button 0" (this is 'A') on the default XBox Controller
| Princess - the little sister | |

The princess can be a little brat. If you ask her she'd tell you that's her looks that stun the others but they are just so fed up with her that they just can not go on and need a small break. |
| Hipster - the big sister | |

The hipster is a true rebel. She smokes weed as all the "cool kids" do and gets bored by her siblings easily. When another one of the siblings walks through her smoke cloud they get confused and walk opposite directions. |
| Nerd - the little brother | |
|
The little brother is a genius! He remembers the first 10 digits of pi and knows how to setup the WiFi. With his knowledge and skills he is capable to hack time so other siblings steps get reversed. |
| Jock - the big brother | |
|
The big brother is a big sports enthusiast. Although he mostly sits on the couch watching all kind of sport games he somehow managed to get very strong! He can just lift up other players and carry them around. |
