  1. du: traverse() tweak 

    * Recursive call to traverse() is slightly easier to see when it's not surrounded by "unless"
* Move bypass for . and .. directory entries to top of loop because the result of catfile() would be ignored
* Also switch to "my" to declare handle for opendir(); this makes perlcritic happy
