Will this work inside of a shadow DOM?

Will this library work if the React component is placed inside a shadow DOM?
If not, is there a quick way to patch this library so it works inside a shadow DOM?

@vedantroy What did you do? And did you jump on a alternative solution? I'm looking for "shadowdom ready solutions", so I'd like to hear what you ended up with.
