FFmpeg not saturating all Intel cores #444

It has been observed that with newer Intel architectures FFmpeg sometimes only uses the Efficiency (E) cores instead of the Performance (P) cores, or less overall cores than expected. Please follow the steps in the answer to hopefully resolve this issue for you. If you still seem to have issues after all these steps have been completed. This is usually due to older versions of FFmpeg not understanding the newer chips design. Make sure to download the latest available ffmpeg You will have to unzip it to a location you want it to stay, then link to it manually in the FastFlix settings page. If that doesn't work other thing to make sure of:
