v0.4.1
LOUDCRAB v0.4.0
There are no known breaking changes in this release, but some substantial internal changes might have unforeseen effects.
- LOUDBOT now uses axum instead of tide to provide the webhook endpoints required by this edition of the Slack API.
- It now also uses the async version of the reqwest-based client in my slack-rs-api fork.
smol
has been replaced withtokio
.
An additional minor bugfix goes out with the release: CAT FACTS are now shouted.
LOUDCRAB v0.3.1
This release brings the LOUDBOT up to date with the current Slack API authentication requirements, so new apps can be created with it.
- Switched to using my fork of slack-rs-api to update the internal api client.
- Refactored somewhat internally to make adding new easter eggs easier.
- Switched to using the 2021 edition of Rust.
- Switched to making release artifacts using GitHub actions instead of a local makefile and containers.
v0.2.6-RTM
Only one minor feature in this release: LOUDBOT now only toasts once, at startup, and not every time it reconnects.
v0.2.5 RTM
This release is the latest version of LOUDBOT using the RTM Slack API, which has been deprecated since about five minutes after they released it, but is still what I have deployed everywhere. Sigh.
LOUDBOT KNOWS WHERE SCUNTHORPE IS
AND IT REFRAINS FROM MATCHING MOVIE-RELATED TEXT NOT ON WORD BOUNDARIES.
LOGGING IS A THING WE DO NOW
Use the RUST_LOG
environment variable to control log levels. This is plain text logging, not anything fancy like json, but you get timestamps now.
LOUDBOT LEARNED SOME NEW TRICKS
DID YOU KNOW? LOUDBOT LIKES CATS. IT ALSO LIKES ALPINE SKIING, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
THE SHOUTENING
IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT LOUDBOT WILL MOSTLY WORK JUST FINE.
