Any Input options when running in VicRel mode?

I am finally playing around with using the user port on my Commodore computers to control stuff.... Only about 45 odd years late, Ha!

I have a Vic Relay board and was wondering if there is any provision in your program to utilize the two input options for program control? Something like the JCM option to pause a line, etc... If I am understanding the JCM feature correctly that is.
