HANA Trial

Sign Up for HANA Trial Account

1. Go to https://account.hana.ondemand.com/

2. Click the Register button.

3. Fill up the form fields and submit the information.

4. Verify your email.

5. Finalize your account by creating a secure password.

6. Safely sign in to your account.

7. Click the Start Trial button.

8. Verify your phone number.

9. Select your region and proceed to you account.

Create HANA DB Instance

1. Go to your HANA trial home page.

2. Click on the trial subaccount.

3. Click on the dev space.

4. Go to the SAP Hana Cloud tab from the menu on the left.

5. Click on the Create button and select SAP Hana Database.

6. Select SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA Database for type and continue.

7. Fill up the instance name and password fields.

8. Adjust memory size and proceed.

9. Decide what connection to allow.

10. Review and create instance. It could take some minutes for the new db instance to be ready.

Note

The free HANA DB instance requires to be manually started every day!

Trial accounts can be extended to a total of 365 days, after which the account will be deleted, and you will no longer be able to access your data. If your account is suspended, your applications may be stopped and you will not be able to run them. However, your data will only be deleted if you do not log into your account within 90 days. Access your account within 90 days, and you will be able to extend your free trial for another 30 days.
