Object types

Containerum CLI offers access to four types of objects: Namespace, Deployment, Pod, Service.

Containerum CLI allows managing three types of objects, switching between Namespaces.

Namespace is an isolated environment that unites all objects of a user or a user group into a single space, utilizing allocated memory span and CPU resources.

Deployment is a controller that manages one or several containers, united into Pods.

Pod is a group, consisting of one or several containers. Pod utilizes the allocated memory span and CPU resources, indicated in the Namespace.

Service is an object that provides shared access to Pod.

Volume is the external volume in which the data is stored. Volume is mounted in the container when it is started.
