Tried implementing this in an Android 10/API29 emulator and am getting the following exception on "Update" or focus lost event.

System.NotSupportedException
Message=Unable to activate instance of type Xamarin.Forms.Platform.Android.FormsEditText from native handle 0xffab0cdc (key_handle 0x1fc46a9).
