  1. Log in to SmartThings web-based IDE
  2. Go to My Device Types > New SmartDevice. Click the "From Code" tab. Paste RainMachine SmartDevice script there. Click Publish > For Me
  3. Go to My SmartApps > New SmartApp. Click the "From Code" tab. Paste RainMachine SmartApp script there. Click Publish > For Me
  4. On your phone app, open up SmartThings App. Click the Marketplace option at the bottom. Click the SmartApps tab at the top right. Scroll down to the bottom and choose "My Apps."
  5. Choose RainMachine.
  6. Furnish the required fields. Port is 80 in the example below.
  7. Select either Zones or Programs as devices. Example below is picking zones
  8. All your zone/program should appear in Things section now
