With Version 2.9.6 you will see an Update-Button when a new Version becomes available.
Following steps are performed
- system requirement check
- backup (zip) of the current installation (/mailhive), stored in
/mailhive/cloudbeez/backup
- download and extract of the current release
- check for write permissions
- update all file
Only files located in /mailhive will be updated.
The update will start only when all affected files are write-able.
the common email templates
/mailhive/common/templates/email_html.tpl
/mailhive/common/templates/email_txt.tpl
will be overwritten.
If you have installed the Template Manager
http://www.mailbeez.com/documentation/configbeez/config_tmplmngr/
this will have not effect for you as all templates are managed in your database.
Otherwise you can restore these files from you backup or you can adjust the latest version of
these templates to your needs.
