I am working on a excel sheet (with VBA) to make scenario analyses for max profit in relation to capacity battery, inverter and charger and so on. Is it possible to make scenario analyses with historical data per hour (consumption an and solar production) over 8760 hour?

Sorry for my late reaction, I had a few holidays.
I know to little to help you with VBA.
With python it must be able to do so.
You can use my add-on to fill a database with 8760 day ahead prices.
You can make variations in capacity battery, max - power inverter, max - power charger.
Set the efficiencies for the possible power-stages.
Calculate for every day the possible max profit and sum over 365 days.
You could write an additional python programs that performs all these calcuation.
Unfortunately I have not enough time to help you with that.

I have not much knowledge of Python. But I shall look at it. Maybe there is a solution in combination with node-red and (JS). I shall try to understand your system. That may take some time.
