S3 Object observe only ?

Hey, I'm trying to read the contents from my s3 bucket similar to the data source from terraform. But I'm not able to do that here, the status.atProvider.content is only enabled if we are creating an object through crossplane. In my case I need something similar to the data source from terraform, Is there anyother way to do that ?

Next I'm going for an option of crossplane function, but before that want to check if there is anyother way !

I tried that actually, but Iooks like it won't fetch the actual data from the bucket object
