As a player starting the game, I want

  1. An introduction screen, with the game logo and picture depicting the purpose of the game. Pressing a key or touching the screen would proceed to the next screen - the menu.
  2. A menu screen, showing options for playing the game, instructions, high scores, and credits.
  3. To start the game by selecting play.
  4. To receive gameplay instructions by selecting 'instructions'. These instructions would say something to the effect of "Press [space] to jump, [ctrl] to dash. Press any key/Touch screen to continue."
  5. To view high scores by selecting the 'high scores' menu option.
  6. To see the credits for this awesome game by selecting the 'credits' menu option.

As a razorback (user), I want:

  1. To be able to jump (and double jump, when necessary) across gaps in the landscape, in order to avoid falling into the abyss and meeting an unfortunate end.
  2. To be able to charge through obstacles in my path, so that I may continue my onward march to victory.
  3. Accumulate as many points as possible by surviving the longest and charging through obstacles.
  4. To be shown a screen once the game is over containing my score, distance, and the top rankings of all scores.
  5. To be given the option to try the game again, or return to the main menu - discussed below.

Looks great so far.

only thing i would add is on part 1:

  1. To accumulate as many points as possible by surviving the longest and completing objectives on a single life.

on part 2 it seems pretty straight forward, but maybe we could add one or two more things? i am drawing a blank at the moment though.
