problem is here:

updatedSource() {
        this.available.list.length = 0;
        this.available.pick.length = 0;
        if (this.source !== undefined) {  <==
            this.sourceDiffer = this.differs.find(this.source).create(null);
        }
    }

not emitted observable has null value
