Hello crew,
I recently had a gear changeup in my car, using a bluetooth unit that does not issue a 'play' command upon connection to the vehicle bluetooth.
I came across a utility in Fdroid called Automate which can use bluetooth connection as a trigger to fire off a command to an application - so I figure that can do the work of kicking off playback for me.
However I can't quite work out the command to issue. Not being a coder, I tried to pour through the source code and attempted a few different commands that I found, relating to github.daneren2005.dsub.activity, some other sub sections of DownloadService, BroadcastReceiver etc. Some of the automtically derived settings that the Automate app found did manage to make dsub launch and bring up a settings menu, but couldn't work out how to make it start playing.
I believe it would be this area here where I would need to insert a commmand to kick off playback:
Thanks all, Joe.
