Okay, I understand that I shall open a new pull request similar to the PR in the original repository? Will care about it during the next weeks (but soon Christmas stress is coming ;-)).

I have now pushed two other commits to increase the clock stability (with the goal to always follow the local device time whatever the user does in his/her timezone settings). Originally I wanted to open a pull request, but somehow the 3 commits came into your master branch (sorry). Last but not least: Frohe Weihnachten.
