Overview

Mypets is a social netwoking and e-commerce app for petshops that emerged as evaluative part of the Distributed Systems discipline of the Information Systems course at the Federal University of Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys, taught by Prof. Alessandro Vivas during second term of 2019.

This app has didatic purpose and it was built to address in practice the concepts learned in the classroom related to web services, API and interoperability in Distributed Systems.

With Mypets, users can register their pets and hire the petshop services. The app provides ease in customizing these services and the profiles of users and animals. Users can be administrators (responsible for managing and customizing the platform), owners (pet owners) and caregivers (responsible for accepting and updating service orders progress). More than one profile can be assigned to a single user.
