this repository is very promising, I am also "unlucky" owner of a quad capture who would love to have it fully functional on Linux.
Have you considered adding the mixer to the Kernel?
Similar to scarlet mixer.
I can see that you added some c file so sounds like you were heading to that direction, did something block you ultimately?
I have been tinkering around to just make it work with 48kHz in place of 44kHz which works fine for my usage but feels frustrating to not have the full capability of this device on Linux :).
