Registration

When accessing for the first time, a registration must first be performed. The following data is required for this:

  • Username
  • Password
  • First name
  • name
  • E-mail address

A confirmation link will be sent to the specified e-mail. As soon as this is confirmed, a first login can be performed. If no confirmation e-mail appears even after several minutes, please check the spam folder or repeat the registration process.

Overview

For a first overview of the existing data, it is recommended to select the tab "Katalog durchsuchen" (browse catalog) via the hamburger menu located in the upper left corner. This now visible catalog shows all already created "Fachmodelle" (subject models). Subordinated to these are groups, classes, feature groups, features, sizes, values and units. This structure is based on the specifications of DIN EN ISO 12006-3.

To search for specific catalog elements, the search bar at the top can be used. If the category of the searched catalog element is known, the hamburger menu (top left) can be used to directly access the corresponding category and search within it.

The menu item "Profil bearbeiten" (edit profile) can be used to adjust the name, first name, e-mail and organization assigned during registration.

The menu item "Export" enables the export of all catalog elements of the category "Subject model", "Group" and "Class". The export is done as a CSV file.

Collaboration

In order to create new catalog items or edit existing ones, account verification must be performed by an admin.

After successful verification, new catalog elements can be created using the button in the upper right corner. In addition, it is now possible to customize and delete any existing elements (caution: delete only custom elements without dependencies!).
