Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When loading many components (e.g. >100 by type) the time needed to query the model and afterwards instantiate the components takes up to two seconds. It would be great to boost the loading time a bit..

Review the instantiation methods, identify bottlenecks and improve the code
