# Hibiscus Tacos | ||

## Ingredients | ||

- 2 cups of dried hibiscus flowers | ||
- half white onion | ||
|
||
## Recipe | ||
|
||
- Wash flowers in sink thoroughly, to get off all gritty bits. | ||
- Put in pot, add 4 cups water (twice amount). | ||
- Optionally hydrate for an hour. | ||
- Bring to boil, simmer for 5 minutes | ||
- Strain liquid into bowl. | ||
- You can make agua jamaica by adding 4 more cups of water, and 1/4th cup sugar to the strained liquid. | ||
- Heat olive oil on med heat until translucent. Add flowers, cook for 10m. Add preferred spices. | ||
