This may be the last update even I am working for MacOS 15. But if anyone contributed for this project, I will update EFI for every release of macos. A small cotribution will also be appreciated. If anyone are ready to contribute their EFI here will be appriciated too. Because this repository is a main branch for our Infinix INBOOKS Hackintosh. So anyone can work in this repository about our all INFINIX INBOOKS.

Note : If you face system settings or Mishash error/ crash on Sonoma! , Remove "-lilubetaall" text in "EFI>OC>config.plist> (inside) "NVRAM" in config. save it and reboot.

  • Updated all the required kexts.

  • Generate Your SMBIOS if you need iservices like iMessages, etc.

  • Fixed Bluetooth. Now Bluetooth is working as normal.

  • Added battery Indication and detection like ventura.

  • Now we can watch apple TV. without gray screen. May be DRM is fixed.

  • Added HORNDIS supported kext, so you can connect your android to macbook and use android as ethernet. but you need to install HORNDIs in your mac.

Thanks to Monu Carpenter for testing the EFI.

  • Fixed trackpad which is not working directly.

  • Replaced back to AirportItlwm from Heliport. Because there is AirportItlwm kext for Sonoma. So no need to install Heliport.app.

  • Everything is same as Previous EFI.

  • Added all the required kexts.

  • if you want this EFI to work on bigsur, then you need to delete all bluetooth kexts & wifi kexts then update config file. thats it.

NOTE: Donot update any kext. Keep it as it should be. Just change SMBIOS and Book picker. DON'T touch anything more than those two. Other wise it may make boot loop.

  • Moved to Opencore 0.9.5 stable.
  • Changed 1.5GB Vram from 4GB vRam. For better graphics optimization & UI smoothness for the device.
  • Added native USB tethering Support so you can use your android as ethernet device. If native tethering is not working for you, just install HoRNDIS here
  • Updated all the required kexts except trackpad which makes bootloop if we use latest.
  • Generate Your SMBIOS if you need iservices like imessages, etc.
  • Great stability if you are using Monterey.
  • Now the min temperature of the device is 40 degrees in Monterey(You may face some issues with temparature in Ventura). Temparatures are better than Windows and Linux in MacOS BigSur or Monterey(not Ventura).
  • Fixed Bluetooth. From now onwards you won't see "Volume HashMismatch" in Monterey. Bluetooth is 100% functional for X1 i3 Monterey, but not in Ventura. You see bluetooth issues and app closing issues in Ventura due to it's new. If you face any issue with Bluetooth or malfunction, just Open a terminal and type sudo purge . If it doesn't work, just reboot. Keep on using Monterey, you don't face bluetooth issue if you use your device for long days like 15days or a month with this OS.
  • This will be the last update if there is no contribution or donations from you.

Known issues:(but no one reported):-

  • Right side,One usb 3.0 is ded if we you plug in a USB 3.0 in X1.
  • Don't worry about Camera in InBook X2 or slim, Update will be released, but I need a X2 & slim user using MACOS. contact me : MyTelegram. Just report me here or Raise an issue. Telegram PM also works.
  • Make a list of issues which are not working or need to be fixed in x2, slim or further version of Infinix InBook and bring it to my eye. So I can fix those. Because I have only X1.
  • I didn't test this Ventura EFI, If it worked let me know in this GitHub discussion.

If you are getting grey screen or no boot to recovery icon, Use opencore 0.8.5 EFI from my release session for successful installation. But remember to do a RESET NVRAM once after replacing the EFI. I may fix this issue later, so wait for my release. After successful installation replace your pervious EFI with my latest EFI.

This is optional Release but final. Experimental.
The END.
If you are getting grey screen, use previous EFI i.e opencore 0.8.5 to 0.8.7 for successful instation. But remember to do a RESET NVRAM once after replacing the EFI. I may fix this issue later, so wait for my release. After successful installation replace your pervious EFI with my latest EFI.

But there are some fixes like

  • Fixed Our usb is not showing on opencore boot menu.
  • Disabled file transfer of USB Type -C charging. For better stability.
  • You may face "Volume Hash Mismatch".
  • removed previous boot menu UI and Boot chime.
  • Removed File Vault.
  • downgraded kexts.
  • updated some core stuff.
  • I suggest you better use this efi than my previous release.
  • This EFI works for Ventura, BigSur and Monterey.
  • You add previous release EFI device properties to this EFI for better optimisation. And in this efi vram is 3gb so copy all device properties.
  • Moved to MacbookAir9,1.
  • I am stopping this project due to lack of support.
  • No answers will be given and Forking is welcomed. EOL.
