This is a fork of IjzerenHein/cordova-plugin-opentok plugin with these added functionalities:
- Bug corrections on IOS (The _publisher variable was being initialzied on a thread which was giving null exception sometimes).
- Bug correction on Android (UpdateViews would initialize publisher if it was called before the method "publish", thus breaking variables on the javascript end).
- Changed order of views so the web view is in front of the video views, thus making you able to render html content on top of the videos. Make sure to have the background of the cordova webview transparent. You can disable it by setting the boolean isVideoOnBackGround to false both on Android and Ios.
- Face tracking functionalities for Android and IOS (using opentok views).
- Added Reconnecting and Reconnected events.
- Updated Android opentok to latest version. (1.12.1), also changed to pick from local instead of maven, because it seems that opentok is going offline.
- Tried to update iOS opentok to latest version but the binary .framework file is bigger than 100 MB and github gave some large file error idk. So in order to properly update you need to download the latest opentok framework from opentok website, unzip, and then replace the OpenTok.framework file in platforms/ios/TutorIQ/Plugins/com.tokbox.cordova.opentok/OpenTok.framework. (use Replace!! Do not merge).
- Properly implemented subscribe/unsubscribe on android. (there was a bug when unsubscribe wouldnt remove the view because the remove was not in a ui tread). Also now developer can unsubscribe/subscribe without need of creating new RunnableSubscribers for the same stream.
