I know we are out of space, but I wanted to post the first request for future consideration.
The VSI is currently a number with + or - to indicate a climb or descent. It would be intuitive to see an arrow to indicate a climb or descent. The arrow could grow to 3 lengths to indicate a gentle, moderate, or high rate vertical speed. I would propose that 3 levels are approximately:
< 300 fpm (1.5 m/s)
300-1000 fpm (1.5 m/s to 5 m/s)
'>1000 fpm (5 m/s)
Maybe the top tier should be 800fpm (4 m/s)? Thoughts?
