## 7. Fix device authorization

If the eGPU does not show up in `lspci`, go through the devices in `/sys/bus/thunderbolt/devices/` and identify the eGPU (e.g. by checking the `device_name` file`.
Once identified, open the `authorized` file and change its value from `0` to `1`.

This change will not persist after reboot.
To fix that, edit `/etc/udev/rules.d/99-removable.rules` to include the following:

```
ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="thunderbolt", ATTR{authorized}=="0", ATTR{authorized}="1"
```
