Okay for a moment it showed up as everything on my android phone. But it only worked for a moment in game. |

Can I ask you to enable UDP logging in the settings and capturing a log file? The option is in the Settings screen of the web interface. You can capture the log file using a program called Logbert in Windows. Instructions here: https://github.com/doudar/SmartSpin2k/wiki/Viewing-logs-via-UDP Also worth trying - just to rule out a possible issue with Zwift on your phone. There's an app called MyWhoosh - i've been using it for testing to avoid polluting my Zwift account. It's completely free and it's worked quite well for me on my Android phone (Galaxy S21) and my windows PC (Intel Bluetooth adapter on my motherboard). |

This is all I got to connect to my phone. My computer does not pickup SmartSpin2K at all via my bluetooth dongle. Even when my phone connects it says "not connected" |

And when all this is connected it doesn't detect cadence, HR or the power source |

https://www.reddit.com/r/SchwinnIC4_BowflexC6/comments/kp9cyd/bowflex_c7_bluetooth_issues/ This reddit post from last year indicates some BLE issues with the C7 bike and has some potential information to get it working for Zwift. That procedure might be useful on SS2K: permalink @doudar will be near a C7 on wednesday and might be able to give it a look. |

Ugh...There's this thread too. The only promising thing is that someone mentioned the bike uses a different BLE to connect the bike to the tablet. If that's true, maybe we can implement the other (proprietary) BLE service. |

The latest comment says bowflex has fixed that timeout issue |

Any other data I can pull? My new Bluetooth dongle should arrive today. I just don't know if I'm still in the return window for the c7 yes or not. |

It should connect. I'm guessing you just need to figure out the correct power up sequence and time. I think this has been mentioned but make sure the bike is paired to SS2K before you start/load Zwift. Also make sure Zwift companion app is turned off before you pair anything. If you figure out how to successfully connect the SS2K to your bike, SS2K to Zwift is easy. When Zwift (or worse) the companion app is on the pairing screen, it sometimes connects to devices within range weather you select connect or not and that can cause you to not be able to pair to anything else. |

I'll see if I can figure out a sequence when I get the new dongle layer today. This is what the pairing screen shows. |

Unless you have other BLE fitness devices nearby, I'd just leave both options on the pairing screen set to "any". It looks like you were connected to the IC7 for a while at least, so that's good |

New USB dongle picks it up. But when pedaling no data is transmitted. Stuck at 0 watts. |

Ah. I just did a scan while in game just now and it picked up the heart rate! I suppose i am still confused by where I should have my knob? It's at 30 on the bowflex screen currently which feels pretty flat to me. |

Also are you not able to shift in erg mode? |

All reactions

Shifting isn't possible in erg since it's targeting wattage. You can spin faster or slower to increase or reduce your resistance though |

I see! Thank you. So far it stays around 30 and does minor adjustments. All these workouts require "10 minute" flat warmups it seems (I'm sick so I can't go far atm) and I can't really test the uphill ability of it. |

Interesting. I did a "quick" ftp test and while the knob moved slightly it stayed mostly at 30 resistance on my bike the whole time. I wonder what is up. |

When I do a hilly route the SS2K doesn't move up or down no matter my cadence. But data is def being passed. |

Is it "22.10.8-develop" ? I also found by turning up my FTP it reacts much faster. I think my FTP was auto set too low. I am noticing it now. I thought during a free ride it would react to hills in the game however. So this only really works with ERG mode workouts? |

Yep, that should be correct. It works with sim mode as well. Maybe try increasing the incline multiplier in settings and make sure the trainer difficulty in Zwift is turned up as well. |

Roger that. I still have some trouble navigating zwift. Is sim mode the free ride mode? |

All reactions

Yep! It will use sim mode whenever you're not doing a training workout. |

Just tried it! It seems to react a little to it. I'm too out of shape to try on a steep ass hill but would imagine it will crank it up then. |

I think I got my bluetooth devices to pair through it. However on my PC it still connects to the C7 bluetooth devices. On android I can see it connect my heart rate and power rate and shows as SmartSpin2k but not cadence nor trainer. Any ideas?
