Contributing to Disable JavaScript

Disable JavasScript is an open source project and I'd love to accept your contribution too!

How can I contribute?

Reporting bugs/issues

In order to help me diagnose and fix any bugs and issues, please provide the following information in your report:

  • A clear list of steps to reproduce the problem
    • If the problem affects a particular site, please also include the URL!
  • Describe what you observe and consider broken behavior; this is what I'll be looking for after executing the reproduction steps
  • The version of Disable JavaScript you're having the issue with; you can find this information in the web extension's about page
    • Example: Disable JavaScript 2.1.0
  • The browser you're using and its version
    • Example: Firefox 59.0.1 (64-bit)
  • The OS you're using and its version
    • Example: OSX 10.13.3
  • A list of other web extensions you have installed
    • Tip: Try disabling them and see if your issue still occurs

By following this format, you'd be greatly increasing the efficiency of resolving the issue.

Suggesting enhancements

If you want to include any change or just clarify if a particular change would be beneficial to the project, please open an issue on GitHub.
