WaifuSaid is an interactive random generator web application that presents the user with an image of a random waifu accompanied by random quote from over 700 different anime series.
This application utilizes Vanilla JS, HTML, and CSS languages as well as jQuery, MDBootstrap, and MaterializeCSS libraries.
We wanted to build something unique to the interests of our group. With our first project proposal failing we knew we wanted to write an anime related application and after reviewing the many available APIs pertaining to the subject we found this to be a fun and interesting idea that would help us expand and strengthen our skills we've learned thus far in the bootcamp.
- WHEN I click the generate button,
- THEN I want to be shown a quote from a random anime series and an image of a random waifu.
- WHEN I click the generate button again,
- THEN I want to be shown a NEW quote from a random anime series and NEW image of a random waifu.
- WHEN I use the search the character or anime series name,
- THEN I want a random quote corresponding to my search.
