Overview

As dry-rb community grows, more and more valuable resources appear on the web related to the
ecosystem.

It is useful to allow for the easy addition of such learning resources.

It took me a while, but I've finally had a chance to prepare such concept:

It would be nice to add more resources, maybe tweet from official @dry-rb Twitter account requesting for blogs posting about DRY? :)

I wonder if a dedicated "sticky" post in our forum might be a more open and maintainable way to track these?

What we could do then is link to that sticky forum post from our website, or something like that.

In fact, I think we could do a lot more to tie the forum to the website. For example, we could link to the specific forum category for each of our gems from their respective doc pages, etc.

@timriley we need both - a sticky post and then a curated list on the website, no?

@timriley, we have much better control of what resources are verified to be listed here. On the forum, you can have a random list of responses without any quality filter. This would be very beneficial for the newcomers, to have it in place.

Also, from a blogger perspective, I want to be transparent. It is really valuable for me, due to the potential traffic, but also brand building.

Having such a list here, could encourage more people (long-term) to create high-quality resources about dry-rb, and share their knowledge.

Love this idea @swilgosz!

Would it make sense to list some other gems that are in the dry-rb world? i.e. rom-rb?

@ianks Hm... having a section here, with Projects using DRY-RB could be awesome. Dry-RB, Hanami RB, etc. BUT, it can be quite a looong list.. :D. I on my own yesterday released the gem using three of the dry-rb libraries 😄.

I guess it depends on the strategy team has for the brand building. Now with Hanami 2.0 being a glue part for dry, ROM and hanami gems, It could make sense to link at least those projects together.
