You can add folder named as visualization-language (if not already present) and start creating data visualizations in it. (e.g. histogram-python,chart-js etc)
- Visualization(s) that you want to contribute are unique against already existing ones, in terms of visualization, language and the package used.
- Data referred in the contribution doesn't create issue for anyone.
- Add snapshot of the visualization.
- Star this repository.
- Click on the fork button on the top right corner of this page.
- Now go to http://github.com/{your_username}/hacktoberfest2021-data-visualizations where you can see your own fork of this repo.
- Open the terminal and clone your fork using
git clone http://github.com/{your_username}/hacktoberfest2021-data-visualizations

Before you make any changes, keep your fork in sync to avoid merge conflicts:
git remote add upstream https://github.com/dscpvgcoet/hacktoberfest2021-data-visualizations.git git pull upstream main
If you run into a merge conflict, you have to resolve the conflict. There are a lot of guides online, or you can try this one by opensource.com.

Now go inside the directory "hacktoberfest2021-data-visualizations" and checkout to a new branch with name of your choice
git checkout -b {branch_name}
- Start adding/modifying your code.
- Add the files you want to commit to the staging area.
git add {folder_name/file_name}
- Commit the changes
git commit -m '{Your commit message}'
- Push to GitHub.
git push origin {branch_name}
- Go to http://github.com/{your_username}/hacktoberfest2021-data-visualizations , on the left there is a button to change your branch. Click on it and select {branch_name}.
- Now you will be able see a button named "Pull request". Click on it.
- Add appropriate message and click the "Create Pull Request" button.
