  • Groom NEWS.md and cran-comments.md
  • Wait for successful tests
  • If needed, tweak and review PR
  • Run fledge::release()
  • Confirm CRAN e-mail
  • When the package is accepted on CRAN, run fledge::post_release() (often handled by GitHub Actions)
