Further increase the accuracy of the machinery

The mechanical precision is good enough by default, for example, 0201 components can be PnP in our video.

However, there is a way to further improve the mechanical accuracy by adding Long Wire Retractable Pull Box tensioners to the X and Y axes.

In the picture, the two motors on the Y-axis shares one tensioner.
Later, I tested and found that it is best to add a tensioner for each of the two motors on the Y-axis (installed as close to the motor as the X-axis).

The tensioner string is claimed to be 1 meter long with a pulling force of 500 grams.
I took the middle range of the string to use, so that the tension will be more uniform.

Using this method, high accuracy can be obtained at a low cost. And there is no fear of mechanical aging leading to loss of accuracy.

However, for the next CDPnP upgrade, we will prioritize the use of a screw slide module with Anti-Backlash Spring Loaded Nut.
