Hi,

I've seen several memmap-files on the net now. I just wonder what the second * in

{ *(.text*) } > ram

means or what affect it takes?

Honestly the individual lines like that were cut and pasted from elsewhere. It should be all documented with the gnu binutils ld documentation. Or maybe slashdot worthy. I never really dug in that deep to find out.
