Checkpoint is a parser lib for Checkpoint firewalls WebVisualizer XML output.

This lib is only tested with XML outputs from R65 and R71 but I guess is should work with R75.

Expect a lot of parser bugs as I haven’t tested this coded against a lot of different rulebases.

• Security policy rule simulation. (no NAT support)

• Network objects enumeration.

• Generating static host files from cluster objects.

• Generate rulebase statistics. (# rule, objects used etc.)

INSTALL:¶ ↑

$ sudo gem install bundler
$ sudo bundle check
$ sudo bundle install
$ bundle exec rake build
$ sudo gem install ./pkg/checkpoint-XX.gem
