Q: How to build swt from source locally (including ws.os.arch fragments and plugins)?

Trying to follow the official docs on https://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php, I have not been able to compile SWT from source.

I fetched R4-28 versions of:

• org.eclipse.swt.binaries
• org.eclipse.platform.swt
• org.eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator

I had to remove the "-SNAPSHOT" postfix from version-numbers in pom.xml files, because otherwise tycho would search for non-existing versions on maven-central.

I also had to remove the version qualifier for the eclipse-ecj-compiler in a parent pom.xml.

That was not enough, because other 3rd-party dependencies had to be build also, like...

• org.eclipse.sdk.prereps

Is there an up-to-date build-FAQ... or how do you build it yourself during deployment?
