When I use the clock.sh script to show the time on the G13 screen, if I hold a key for longer than the sleep time (1 second by default), the key gets 'stuck'. So far I only noticed this behavior in games (character keeps going forward after I let go of the key) and not on the desktop (in a text editor I don't get a long string of w's). This is easily worked around by setting the sleep time to 60 seconds (or even 5 minutes) but if anyone knows of a proper way to avoid this issue, please let me know.
