Generating Master Token

  • Log in as an admin and navigate to Admin Control panel (ACP) of NodeBB.

  • Move to the install plugins from Plugin tab.

  • Install and activate NodeBB Write API Plugin

  • Rebuild and restart NodeBB

  • Go to the Plugins tab -> Write API

  • Click on the option Create token shown on the Master Tokens panel, to get the Write API master token
