  • Version: 8.11.1
  • Operating System: almalinux 9.3
  • Steps to Reproduce:
  1. filebeat keystore add filebeat
  2. Use that "${filebeat}" as the password of the elasticsearch output
  3. Filebeat fails to start with message: Exiting: error initializing publisher: can not convert 'string' into 'string' accessing 'output.elasticsearch.password' (source:'/etc/filebeat/filebeat.yml')
