When you click "Display 1 change since last visit", you're taken to a page with the banner added:

Page reviewed! By navigating to this page you have marked it reviewed. If you did not want to review
the page you may un-review it to save it for another time.

and a button that allows you to defer your review.

An addional button should be available to view the next revision.

The page you're reviewing shows the sum of all revisions, not just a single revision. Most of the time this is what our users care about.

We have been planning on improving this page for a long time. Unfortunately other development has gotten in the way. We'd like to add the list of revisions the user is looking at, so it's easier to see all the revisions that have taken place since their last edit, plus give navigation options to focus in on individual revisions.

A much bigger change than this is that we'd like to add the option for wikis to declare explicit review of pages, versus the current implicit review. In other words, right now when you go to a page it says "hey, you've now reviewed this". This is the standard way that the MW watchlist table works. We'd like to make it possible to have a "Mark this reviewed" button on the page so that people have to take an action to mark the page reviewed.
