  • updated because of official Rust release with ICE corrections

Regarding direct-boot support, ESP32-C3 support has been merged in RTIC, and it looks like they're using this feature in at least the one example I've seen:

Not sure if it's a hard requirement or not, but that would definitely be a good reason to keep the feature if it is.
