Described the feature in detail and justified the reason for the request.
Provided specific use cases and examples.
Feature description
Some people prefer to read the documents using the dark theme. I'd like to have permanent toggle switch on the page that allows me to switch between "light theme", "dark theme" or "system setting". Looking at Zephyrproject documentation pages shows what I'm expecting.
Use cases
The dark mode is needed depending on the ambient light condition and type of device screen. The switch can therefore be used to select the proper color mode.

Hi @marekmatej, thanks for the suggestion. This feature was part of the first Portal version but was disabled due to the Giscus comments issue when switching to dark.
We will add this request to our backlog.

That's a pity. Dark mode is useful, even more than Giscus. Judging by a number of comments under the articles. Hopefully the issues will be solved and dark mode will be back one day :)
