time shift / catchup viewing?

A quick question if I may... (great project by the way - thank you!).

It may just be an issue with my provider, however can I ask if this tool supports time shift/catchup requests issued by the client?
(assuming the provider offers the feature)

@solohpgh m3u-filter supports redirect and reverse proxy functionality. If you use redirect, your player connects to the original provider stream and with reverse proxy the content is streamed through m3u-filter. In both cases. you can start , pause resume the stream. The timeshift api for xtream is implemented. But i dont know how the catch-up api looks like. If you provide me more information i can try to implement it.

I'm currently using reverse proxy mode. I'll give it a go in redirect mode also. I can see from the logs that an attempt is made for timeshift, though it returns a 404:

It's probably a provider issue. As for helping out with the catch-up api... as much as I want to, I wouldn't know where to begin, being more of an end user solving a problem using your tool.

Really appreciate the work you've put into m3u-filter... it meets 95% of my requirements.
(so no complaints from me, I can't really miss what I've never had)

@solohpgh i have pushed a first catch-up api implementation to the feature branch featue/catchup.

The get_simple_data_table api is imlemented. What we are now missing what is called when you try to start a stream. If you can test and give a feedback what is called then i try to implement this part too.

Which player do you use, I could not find one which supports catch-up.

I think it is working... I found a channel that worked natively (because not many seem to be working with my provider), then tested using your latest build - success!

Also note, the error has changed from 404 to 400.

@solohpgh 400 means bad request, i guess it indicates the requested resource is invalid.
