Design Issues

This is a header page for a set of wiki pages that record design challenges, options considered, resolutions, and rationale for the chosen resolution. Keeping them on separate pages gives us an audit record of how we arrived where we did, without mucking the design specs with a lot of history and alternatives.

A number of challenges were addressed in Issue #37: Design Spike: Descriptor Re-factor.
